Tris and I want to 
welcome the attendees that are here today listening to the presentation of Hiring Bloggers and Bloggers for Hire. This session is all about how hire a blogger and how to become a blogger for hire. We were told specifically that we were in no way supposed to make this a sales pitch from the stage so we will do all that we can to not make this what has been known as presentation conference spam. We won’t call the session “Bloggers For Hire” perhaps but we might better change the title to Hiring a Social Media Manager or Becoming a Social Media Manager.

It was great meeting both you and Tris last week and attending your workshop! I enjoyed your workshop and didn’t find it spammy at all. You were able to present the types of opportunities available to freelancers in a manner that didn’t make it look as if you were trolling for clients.
One thing I would have liked to see (and will propose this for next year) is something about the pros and cons of being a blogger for hire. I could talk about that forever.

Great site - and even better name… I typed in - hire a blogger and here you are. However, I’m not yet sure how the heck I go about hiring a professional to do this for me… and I’m very interested in learning alot more… and engaging a professional to assist me with this process.

I wonder, if blogging is enough to become a Social Media Manager. I think you’ll have to be active at chosen virtual communities too.
Your site says BLOGGERS for HIRE but I’ve spent 10 minutes trying to find a link where I can actually find one for hire. Where is it? We have an online charity auction that we need to boost traffic/sales and we think blogging and message boarding can help.
Please advise.
