Professional Blogging: Events and Conferences
Many trade shows and conferences are held all over the country in every imaginable business arena from Advertising to Zoo Maintenance. Last week I attended at ad tech IMPACT conference in Denver and I am blogging the experience at the ad tech blog. Many bloggers post entries live from the event nearly in real time. It is a great way to advertise and expose the event, and to allow people to share in some of the great content being presented where they would not have that luxury. It is like increasing your attendance. If you have an event or conference and you would like a professional blogger to attend and post entries about the experience, we can provide you that service. Just make sure you have Internet access!

if people started to hire blogger to blog for them it will lose the whole attraction of blogs which is the personal touch I think most of blogs get their popularity because it is written with one own thoughts and view, I don’t mind using blogs for business purposes but I think it should be written by the business owner only otherwise it will be more as companies usual web sites
You’re right, adevents - the appeal of the blog in businesses IS the personal touch they lend. However, running a business - big or small - is a LOT of work, and it’s often difficult to find the time to keep a website updated. That’s where our bloggers come in. We don’t just put writers out there; we match our bloggers with our clients, we make sure the blogger knows the client, their business, their mission statement, and what they want to accomplish with the blog. Our bloggers work very closely with the clients they write for to make sure that personal touch is NOT lost.
Thanks shylah, and thanks Jim Turner for your email you two are right about difficulty of updating blogs and find the time required for it, but always people want to hear from the owner him self or the decisions maker at least once a month or so , I guess in addition to using professional bloggers he must blog or write something some time in his own words this what gives business human touch which I believe most of people look for this personal human touch we lack now days no matter what the blog made for educational or to increase organic search for their company website, always human touch is needed and I think it plays a big role in the success of the blog and your blog can be a good example of the human touch in it
I would like to write for a living and blogs should be a way to do that but I don’t find that businesses are willing to pay for good writing. Everyone expects the writer to work for free.
I work as a web developer and I’ve added a blog to a client’s web site and today I wrote an excellent journal entry to show them exactly how this is meant to be used to promote their products:
a href=”http://www.caraccessories.com/wordpress/?cat=1″>http://www.caraccessories.com/wordpress/?cat=1
As you can see, I wrote something that is directly applicable to the products they sell. I made the writing entertaining by telling a personal story while at the same time promoting the value of their products. It is a true story by the way. I included a link to their product page. That is very important. Always include links to the product pages. The search engines love content like this and people will be intrigued by a “cat litter disaster”. More importantly, they won’t just read it but be prompted to immediately buy floor mats to prevent their own cat litter disaster.
This blog entry appeared immediately in the Technorati’s search engine when I did a search for “cat litter”, a keyword that the web site ordinarily wouldn’t use. Blogging can extend your keyword range for better ranking.
I hate to nitpick, but you have at least two typos in your original post there. Check imaginable and great. Not a huge deal in the blogging world but if you’re advertising writing services (blogging or otherwise) you might want to give everything a second proofread. Otherwise I have no problem with what you’re doing. The newspapers and other media outlets already have paid bloggers.
