Educate vs. Advocate for Professional Blogging

Many people have asked me about what credibility does a professional blogger have? The only response I have is that professional bloggers are used to educate not advocate. A professional blogger knows how to use the available platforms, they know how to use key phrases and terms, and they know something about the genre or niche they have been contracted to write about. Certainly you would not hire a professional blogger that was a technical geek to write about knitting and yarn, because that would be disingenuous.
What a business needs is someone that can educate the customer. Your product or service sells itself, but what it cannot do is write for itself. What you are trying to accomplish when you hire a blogger is to provide quality content at an affordable price, and you don;t want to have to worry about whether that person is an advocate for your business message. Let a proifessional blogger educate your customer, and let your product advocate to the customer.

Great article. I am just sad I dont know how to reply properly, though, since I want to show my appreciation like many other.
