Business Blogging: Practicing What I Preach

Posted on September 19th, 2005

I was called out by a reader for not practicing what I preach.  He is absolutely spot on with his comment:
You might try practicing what you preach. Three posts in September? Nowhere near the kind of output a company wants if they were to hire a blogger. If you’re not going to produce for your own pitch, why on earth should a client expect you to do it for them?
Three posts a week is a low number let alone three posts in a month.  I have no excuse other than time and manpower.  I have spread myself a little thin with my projects and blogging, and of course 2 jobs, 4 kids, etc.  All of these same excuses are similar to what businesses face time and again when I ask them why they are not regularly posting to their blog.  I hear all of these reasons.  What do I do to help them remedy this situation?  I eliminate the excuses, by providing the manpower, the the time, the content and the professional blogger.  I wonder where I can find this pro blogger?  Anyone know where I might find a blogger I can pay to post here everyday?
