blogslime If you think you’re stumbled on posts here on Blog Professional, you have because Sticky Blogs is stealing the content from here.  We are in the process of sending Cease and Desist orders.  But want the best part?  The site makes it look like they are helping us.  Rich Benvin has the unmitigated gaul to say Bloggers For Hire is a contributor to the site.

irony Gee, Jim and I haven’t seen a cheque from them for the ad revenue.  Gee, we weren’t asked if our content could be re-published.

So Rich, just cut it out.  Take the site down.

Like yesterday.

I think you’re being overly diplomatic. Not so much re-publishing as content scraping, surely?

He must have taken the advice on there being no substitute for quality content a little too far and thought it’d be easier to rip off the efforts of everyone else…

gaul was the name given, in ancient times, to the region of Western Europe comprising present-day northern Italy, France, Belgium, western Switzerland and the parts of the Netherlands and Germany on the west bank of the Rhine river.

is probably what you were looking for, though maybe you meant “nerve”. Gall is defined as 1) an open sore, saddle sore 2) a sore caused by chafing, 3) a swelling of plant tissue caused by microorganisms, insects or injury, 4) a feeling of deep and bitter anger or ill-will, and 5) a digestive juice secreted by the liver.

I suppiose you meant he had some ill will, or contempt, to steal your stuff. Twisty stuff … imagine how some musicians may feel ? He’ll probably claim he’s driving traffic to your site ?

Geez, what’s the big deal? You’ve got your content on other sites getting your word out, direct links to you site and posts, probably getting more traffic and readers going directly to your site and will probably never go back to the original place they found your post anyway. In any case, here are some tips…

This in an old post and I really wanted to comment on the accidental use of “Gaul” in place of “gall,” but I was beaten to the punch some five months ago it seems. He (or she) didn’t even mention that you probably were looking for “you’ve” instead of “you’re.” The real problem, though, was his fatalistic error in misspelling “suppose,” and probably unintentionally posing his final statement as a question. Sometimes the grammar police must make internal arrests. Good thing I was beaten to the punch, though, because correcting grammar and spelling is petty (yes I do it sometimes), especially if you are like me and make a healthy number of errors yourself.

In more related news, thanks for the wealth of information offered on the site.

I guess there is nothing to worry if they have post your articles on their website. You have the advantage on that. Readers or visitors may visit your site because the author resource box remains there. Also, it is ok if they have post your articles because there is no modification on the post.
