BlogHer 06 and B4H

Bloggers For Hire has become a Foundation Sponsor of the BlogHer 06 Conference taking place at the end of July.  We are hoping to have some representatives at the conference to participate and spread our message of what we provide the corporate world of blogging.  It will be a chance for us to meet and greet those that have helped our business grow and succeed and it will also be a time for online friends to meet and finally get to speak together more than just over a impersonal Internet connection.

We at Bloggers For Hire believe strongly in their mission at BlogHer::

BlogHer’s mission is to create opportunities for women bloggers to pursue exposure, education, and community.

And further they convey their mission as:

  • A do-ocracy where BlogHer doesn’t serve women bloggers, but rather creates opportunities for all women bloggers to help ourselves and work together to voice and achieve our goals–professional, technical, social and/or personal;
  • A robust BlogHer Network equipped with the tools we need to deliver on the education, exposure and community of women bloggers, branching out beyond a single blog to create a true community resource and meeting place;
  • A community that regularly meets in person, at regional, local and specialized meet-ups, as well as at our annual conference, to continue our conversations. We are committed to extending our conversations and network even to those who cannot attend these meetings in person.

I hope that we get to see everyone while we are in California and make sure to stop by and register for BlogHer 06 today!

Ive got to say, aside from all the drivel that Blogher claim to represent, that I’m disappointed that you guys would align yourself with this group.

For starters, “Where the women bloggers are” is condecending in itself, but the BlogHer crowd plays up to this whole “vicitimisation” thing to try to build there own profile….you guys should be better than falling for this tripe.
