Use an editorial calendar to help your blogging

XL sheetAndy Wibbels, who will be joining us on the Blogonomics cruise, made a couple of XL or OpenOffice templates for tracking your blogging.  Granted, most bloggers don’t need this because their blogging is more ad hoc and off the cuff, but pro bloggers … that’s a horse of a different colour.  A good blogging/editorial calendar (assuming you use it) can help you keep track of when to post to a site when and what topics to cover.

I have a write on / wipe off board that is woefully out of date.  Andy’s XL sheet is pretty easy to work with and I recommend that all of us (including me) give it a go.  Maybe doing something as simple as filling it out first thing Monday, printing it out, and keeping it by your computer would work.

Thanks Andy!
