I enjoyed all your great blogging tips. I have been blogging since March, 2007 so I consider myself a "virgin blogger." I am using my blog to consolidate a number of essays I have written on various topics, along with sharing some social commentary. Many of my posts are pretty long! I have not figured out how to do shorten the posts with the "click here to continue"feature so that one post does not on and on and on and, well you get it. While the site is geared towards academics and scholarly sorts I think this is a turn off and folks will be too impatient to continue scrolling through long posts to get to others. Even though I have an archives it is still problematic. How do I custom design my blog to integrate this feature that I know will enhance my blog?

Certainly, it's very important to keep check on grammatical mistakes - specially for professional blogs.

I do keep on cross checking my posts and reading them atleast once in my blog to make sure everything in spelling, grammar and look n feel of post is great.

You have an error in your next to last sentence.
"if you do find and error" should be
"if you do find an error"
