I have recently found a new pinging service that seems to put www.pingomatic.com on the used shelf.  I have been telling everyone that they should at the very least be using pingomatic to let others know when they have updated their blogs.

 

Now we have a new rooster in the hen house.  Newly launched www.pingoat.com is a new pinging service that everyone should try to use after every post.  I also use the service called Feed Shark.  Pingoat does not seem to have a ping for Bloglines which I have been using as my RSS aggregator.  To help increase your traffic you must be letting your readers and others know that your blog has been updated.
